Recognizing the need for real-time, accurate data to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency, Coral Expeditions partnered with Nortech AI to revolutionize vessel monitoring. In order to maintain its position as a leader in the expedition cruise industry, Coral Expeditions had multiple goals for this partnership: integrate all vessel data into a cloud-based system for instant access; provide API access to service providers for better coordination and maintenance; and enhance real-time data monitoring to improve decision-making processes.
Solution
By the end of August 2024, Coral Expeditions had successfully integrated our advanced monitoring solutions on two of its luxury vessels. This enabled live data from the ships to stream directly to the cloud, providing real-time oversight of vessel operations. We also created customized dashboards that showcased KPIs, giving Coral Expeditions clear and actionable insights into their fleet's performance.
Result
Our work with Coral Expeditions brought immediate and significant benefits. Early on, our technology uncovered discrepancies in the data signals, which led to corrective actions with the control system manufacturer, ensuring data accuracy and reliability. With the foundation of accurate data, Coral Expeditions now makes more informed, proactive decisions, enhancing both service quality and operational efficiency. Looking ahead, we plan to develop custom products with virtual sensors specifically designed for Coral Expeditions' unique operational needs. We also aim to enhance API functionalities, enabling deeper integration with key service providers. With these advancements, we expect to enter a new era of service efficiency and environmental responsibility in maritime operations.
